So I purchased the part number referenced by KTM as an outdoor "Beast" cover off of Amazon, it in no way fits and is paper thin. Does any one else have this cover and can tell me if that is what I am to expect or did I get a cheap knockoff?

I've never found any of the KTM accessory motorcycle covers to be anywhere near being a good "outdoor" cover and also from my experience none of the covers are very thick or "heavy duty". If you want a good quality motorcycle cover (or vehicle cover for that matter) this is the ONLY place to go for any environment, indoor or outdoor IMO. http://www.calcarcover.com/product/1255 ... cle_Covers . I've had covers from them going back to the early '80's for my BMW's, VW's and Mopar muscle cars when they were Beverly Hills Automotive Accessories and still have one or two of them from that era. I currently have five of their covers and one as a year round outdoor cover. All of my bikes are stored indoors so I have several of the KTM covers and they are just good enough to keep the dust off and that's it. I had my Super Duke outside a few months back with the cloth KTM cover as I needed it out of the garage for a few hours and of course it started to rain............I put a plastic tarp over the KTM cover to keep the KTM cover and the SD dry

Oh and I know that there is someone at CCC that knows KTM's and may be able to get the best fit cover for your bike, just have to ask. Who knows maybe they'll make a custom cover you and your SD?
