My rear master as developped a leak around the plunger where it goes into the cylinder from the pedal. Is there a rebuilt kit available or im SOL and need to get another one? Do they leak there often? Been on the forum for a while and i dont remember reading about another one that leaked. Btw it still works pretty well and you can barely see it unless you pull on the little boot.

You might have been on the forum for a while but you haven't read much!
They all start to leak at some stage (thanks KTM) most peope replace the unit with an oberon or other brand as they are better quality and nicer build.

We are talking rear brake master cylinder right? Should be rebuild able with new O-rings if the bore is ok. Don't know wether there is a specific rebuild kit out there...

I've replaced mine twice - failed due to lack of use.

OK OK I messed up!

I'm jetlagged and use a computer with a fooked up keyboard (keys in different spot, stupid french) so give me a break!!!

It is all this 1290 shit confusing me...

Sorry dude not much people had problems with REAR BRAKE MASTER cyl. I think you can get a kit for it from ktm or brembo.
Not sure as brembo has stopped supplying certain repair kits.
