hey guys just got word from the shop the meter assembly on my bike needs replaced, the gauges cut in and out and now dont work now. i have done a web search to see if i can replace it myself and see how much it is but havent been able to find it. any one on here know

Yes easy!
I would have a look at the connector on the back first, it is small and tend to oxidise and stops it from working.

Take the screen off. On the headlight cowl undo the screw on the side, this allows the headlight assembly to split a bit in the middle.
Undo the screws holding the headlight to the triple clamp and put a rag on the mudguard to prevent damage there. Tilt the headlight forward and rest on the rag.
Split the headlight a bit and lift the speedo out carefully not to break the tab at the front, undo screws and done.
