missing clutch switch?

So had a dumbass stall at an intersection the other day, 2007 990 SD. Pulled in clutch, hit the switch, nothing. WTF? Found neutral fast, got it started. Got home and looked around for a switch delete option as I've already done the kickstand bypass. Didn't see anything for an aftermarket part, then I looked at the perch and clutch lever itself. Hmmm... nothing there. Looked at the fiche and sure enough, there is supposed to be a clutch switch. But I don't seem to have one? I don't even see where one would plug into. Am I being totally braindead?

Here's what the bottom of my lever looks like, switch held on by those 2 tiny screws I guess. Holding plug up beside it, it plugged in behind headlight mask.

Far out... I looked again and there are the 2 tiny screw holes but nothing there...

I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Must've never been there or it'd be hanging by the wire. Guess you never tried starting it in gear before?!
