Hi Guys,

Just noticed a nick in my frames paintwork and has a little surface rust on the exposed metal. Any suggestions on how to knock it on the head now?

Just bigger than a match head.

1. Tape well around the spot to be repaired.
2. Brush on some high build primer until its just below the surface of the gouge.
3. Brush on some black paint until it's a bit higher then the frame
4. Allow adequate time to dry. Preferably use 2k paints but they can get expensive.
5. Sand with 2000 grit until everything is smooth.
6. Buff with rubbing compound.
7. Throw on some wax for protection.
8. Hope the repair doesn't look better than the rest of the bike.
