Before I commit to having a set of custom shims made does anyone know where I can get 10mm dia shims (for me SD) in sizes that go beyond the maximum sizes that KTM do?

Your help greatly appreciated.

In the hardley movingson department possibly. The Vrod has the same shims and the kits are better they also do intermediate sizes.
Worth having a look there, let us know what you find!?

These will be for the hotter cams that youve had for a while i presume Dave?

Have you tried the actual supplier of the cams, they must have an answer!

Or maybe double up on thin shims?

Whats the actual size youl be looking for, any idea? Is Kev peicing it all together nicely

I've been looking at getting a set of shims just so I don't have to go running around looking for the right size after I measure them.

So I looked on ebay to see what the sets consisted of, 3 each 1.8 to 3.2 in .05 increments.

I called precision shims in Australia to give them my busness and was left speechless - $489.50

a Hot Cams set posted from the states = $76.44

What the ?
