Hey guys,
I just picked up my '08 SD 990 today and I am beginning to start piecing together information on them. As I prefer to do with all my rides, I'm trying to hunt down the factory service manuals especially in regards to having the parts diagrams for the entire bike. I essentially got nothing with it, one key, no documentation etc. Can anyone help me track some of these down? I've found a couple of links to specific sections of the manuals, but nothing complete. I may end up ordering an owners manual off ebay as I just prefer to have everything to go with the bike.
Lastly, where can I order a spare key for a KTM?? If I have to order a blank, and get it cut locally I can do that. But I would prefer to just order one direct for the bike if possible. I will likely end up battling with the dealership I got it from to try and have them purchase it for me.

The repair manual is posted somewhere in that thread too...
I don't know if KTM can supply keys when you give them a VIN.
But the key doesn't come with a transponder so you can go to any key duplicator shop to have one made up.

Awesome thanks. Manuals are saved, where is the best place online for buying oem KTM parts? With the GSX-R I found bike bandit to be reasonable but they don't stock for team orange. Doesn't need to be Canada, anywhere in North America is fine.

Yikes, you weren't kidding. Those prices are fantastic, this powersportswarehouse.com seems pretty decent, I'll just lump my orders together to avoid any shipping costs. They even list some of the smaller body panels (as far as I can tell) for fairly cheap, I could throw some orange bits at the bike pretty easily at those prices!
I called the dealership, $40 for a key blank versus $5 on PSW. Any other spare parts that are good to have on hand for a SuperDuke? I keep hearing people mention the water pump, so I may order one just to have it in the case it shows up as an issue one day.
