I have just fitted a set of Sato rearsets to the SD.

On the brake side I noticed that the std footrest assembly has a return spring to raise the pedal up to its origional position after use. Here is a picture

The Rearsets dont have a spring or any provision that would allow one to be fitted. My concern is weather this will lead to the rear brakes binding after use?

I have had bikes with rearsets before but cant remember what the deal was. The rear wheel is out so I cant tell if it's gong to be an issue at all.

Here are a couple of images of the rearsets fitted.

Does anybody here have rearsets fitted without a return spring and if so are there any issues? Sato is a quality product so I'm guessing it will be fine but it just seemed strange to me. Any thoughts / advice apreciated....

Answered my own question. Should have been a return spring to push against the master cylinder but missing from my kit. Will get one and problem solved!
