Just wondering which brand everyone has used for replacement brakes? Are they as good or better than the stock equipment. I've got an 06, just thinking about changing, still have the original discs and pads, with just over 25k kms on them, they've done a few trackdays as well

Cheers

I have Braketech rotors and discs after I bent my originals in a track day off. They are hideously expensive but so seem most aftermarket replacements. I's like to think they work better than OE but to be honest those are so good it's not like there was some revolutionary difference that I could feel. But I also have upgraded monoblock M4 callipers so the whole set up is different.

25k km's on a set of pads? Blimey.

Have tried a few non-OEM discs and none as good as or lasted as long as OEM - pads EBC HH or DP SPD, latter as good as EBC and don't appear to create as much dust or wear discs as EBC but don't last as long - just had one pop out today, though, albeit with only circa 1mm friction material left.
