how long does it take to replace all the coolant hoses, is it an all day affair that requires removing all kinds of stuff to get at all the connections?
and would you replace them with stock hoses or silicone? yes i know all about the bleeding process, sigh...

I suppose it depends how familiar you are with the bike and how small your hands are
You do have to take apart a couple of more "hidden" connectors but half a dozen tubes and replacing all the water and bleeding...maybe 3 hours? 4 max ??

fellas, lets be a bit more specific here please. i ordered a Samco replacement kit, rad cap, and thermostat, and am accessing how complicated this is.
looks like the area behind the oil tank is the most problematic part. does the oil tank have to come off?
also do you pre-assemble as much as you can and stuff everything in place or replace each hose one at a time. there doesnt seem to be a tread on this nor could i find the proceedure in the repair manual. is it pretty straight forward, or a PITA? i have a moto box and it looks as though the left side is pretty accessable.

Just loosen oil tank and drop it forward.
You'll do it all start to finish in a couple of hours easy.

Did you purchase new hose clamps.????
Takes a specialty tool to crimp them in...
I wouldn't use screw type clamps...
If you do there are special silicon screw type clamps...
I'd do it with the crinp style as OEM...
