can anyone tell me what/if there is any advantages with removing/ blocking of the SAS system? also I can clearly see that the system is still fitted to the bike although it has a complete evo akra system fitted and pc3, I thought it was part of the fitting of the akra system to remove the SAS as per akra fitting instructions!!?? was on the instructions when I fitted the akra to my old 625sm to remove sas,
any advice appreciated,

cheers jack

With akras and a pc3 is it highly likely that the sas system is disabled and the pipe has been plugged (you can confirm this by looking for a plug in the pipe to the airbox, and by checking with a laptop that the system is disabled)

If it is disabled as described above.. The advantage you will get from removing the hardware (valve and tubing) would be a weight saving (I think it's about 400g)
