when i put the key and turn it on the rpm lights comes up but there is no lights on the odometer.

i've checked the fuse box and checked all the fuses, still the bike wont start.

checked the battery and it was significant.

BTW, when i put the key and turn it on there is no sounds coming from the fuel bump.

i need your help guys.

Better not to guess...
Why not get a cheap multimeter?
For example http://www.buyincoins.com/item/2099.html (enter bertalizer in the recommender field at checkout for an extra 5% discount)

Have you had the front mask off where the tip over sensor is?

Is the kill switch on? (you never know)

Regulator could be an issue as could the battery, sometimes terminals come loose or a wire comes off/breaks.

Battery voltage is critical..
Do you keep it on a battery tender.???
Mine stays on one when I'm not riding..
Battery will drop to a lower voltage and
it will not start...and low voltage can make
it do some pretty strange things...

"Need more info - symptoms, recent work done, etc."

I think he was working on the exhaust, and does not like to use shop manuals.

Would rather post and be spoon fed....

*Racent work*
yesterday i was in KTM garage to change oil and adjust the chain, and adjusted the rear suspension.

after that took the bike for a test drive and it was allright.

no symptons of something wrong.

today tried to check the fuse box if there was any blown fuse, and there was not.

so, i tried to start the bike and it wont, a red light "the one under the odometer" was blinking, that was strange since my securty system doesnt work since a couple of mouth's.

after that i, i checked the service manual, double checked the fuses and replaced them.

disconnected the battery and connect it again.

double checked that the emergency switch was on.

disconnected the security alarm "underneath the seat".

until now the bike wont start.

So, ignition on, speedo lights up - does tacho needle sweep, warning lights light up, speedo display? No fuel pump priming but does it turn over on the starter?

when you removed the alarm, did you plug in the special plug to eliminate the alarm?

And, if it were a problem with the tip over switch it would start but cut out after 2 seconds.

May be, may be not - just thinking obvious cause and effect - I have a spare plug if you need one in a hurry.

But the bike ran ok with failed alarm or did it not start once alarm failed and was disconnected?

Either the alarm has to be working or 'plugged off'.

PM me your address and I'll post it express.

So much for the value of the alarm if it can be disconnected and the bike ridden without the alarm blanking plug..........................
