SDR - random engine dying

Puzzling issue.

Bike : 08 SDR with akras, sas mods, PC3, mapping etc

starts perfect
runs perfect

Seem to have a random issue where the engine dies. This can happen if not giving enough revs setting off (when usually its fine), blipping the throttle in neutral, pulling the clutch in fast.

It will start first time after but i then have to keep the revs up to about 3k or it will die. Once i've done that for about 15 seconds it will kind of settle, though spluttery and then after about a minute be fine running on idle again.

my initial thought was spark plugs, bought some but not had chance to change as yet (plus i've read one is a bugger to do). Fueling maybe? i've raised the bars on the power commander for the low revs to see if that helps but its not.

Its a real puzzle, appreciate any advise.

So many possibilities........suggest starting with simple ones - check clutch switch first.

you know, i never thought of that, gonna take a look this weekend.

Actually thinking about it, it can be in neutral and you can gently blip the throttle and this will cause it to happen, so not even using clutch for that. I'll check anyway obviously.
