My question know is of this is better for the bike to get some more air like with the motohooligan airbox or do i have to remove it. The bike runs nicely and smooth so i think there is no problem maybe just clain my filter a bit more

I have the triangles as you have, shafts removed, no sas,o2 sensors removed,k/n filter and running otto evo4 map.
Heading to dyno on the 17 Jan and will test with triangle open and closed.
With this setup my bike runs very strong

I think that has been done before and it ended up losing power and making more noise. There are some very old threads on it on here but it takes a bit of searching.
Have a look here for a cheap induction mod. Low cost and definatley works.

Thats why i want to find out for myself on the dyno,I cant see why you would loose power.
I guess it really depends on what mods you have done and the mapping as well.
On my Previous Ducati bikes, opening the airbox allways gave better results.

I had my SD mapped and dynoed with doors on...... and with doors off ( 2 years ago) hardly any difference (1hp).....Which surprised me...as it was considered the mod to do on 950 SM (sommer doors ) ....but I did not remove the snorkel as 'X-bike modification' which did make a difference to my 950 SM when jetted to suit
But you would be better removing doors than replacing with doors with little slits

My snorkel is removed as well as the triangles gutted and mesh installed, will do a run with them covered and then one with them open again.
With all the other mods that have been done im sure their is some gain, how much only dyno time will tell.

ok thanks for your oppinion. i will ride like this and try to feel the difference. i think it is cooler to have them open so if the bike runs good i leave it that way.
i have already changed in a bid smaller net and painted it white and black and it looks super

Think I've got a dud. I don't have 1 angel in my airbox, let alone 3 of them!
Sorry, couldn't resist.
