Sidestand (slight) inadequacy

Hi folks, first proper question here, and luckily it's not too serious.

I picked up my SD today, and overall am very happy with it. However, the sidestand does not inspire confidence.

The bike seems to sit more upright when on the sidestand than I am used to with bikes I've previously had, and it's also a bit awkward to kick down with my foot.

Just thought I'd ask about it, my brother had a similar problem when he got his Aprillia RSV, it was a common problem and he bolted on a CBR6 sidestand and everything was better with minimal fuss.

I was wondering if other folks find this and if there is something similar most owners do with/to their sidestands, or am I being overly picky?

Thanks in advance

Never had any issues, as with all bikes, you must pick where you park carefully.

Yup. Not a problem. It is a tall bike but it won't fall over unless you happen to be sitting on it as Miss Universe walks by

Cheers for the replies, as I assumed I'm being overly picky

There is a past post on this in here somewhere,,if I recollect correctly the guy just did a little grinding on the side stand mounting plate to let it "lean" a bit more,,,,,
