Nice find! I like it - I was considering an Oberon ... May go with one of those bad boys instead.

Thanks!

Got it, works really good. I think i can "feel" the clutch better now and it seems to go smoother into the gears then before.

Dang..just replaced the one on my 04 950 Adventure 3 days ago. I did up date to the newer KTM model that has a square cross section ring instead of the O ring. It took all the mush feeling away..We will see how long this one lasts..thanks for posting.

I'm sure they do,,,,but you still need an Oberon machined ali base plate ,,,to get rid of the "plastic" stocker that deform's over time,,,should mount right up,,,,

To everyone that's tried this unit..
So what's the concensous guys.???
I know of one guy that is running it
and he said it requires a stronger hand
to pull the clutch lever..
I'm running the Oberon unit and
no problems..

TBH I don't know about "JEN",,,she let an order of mine sit on shelf for a month or so before I inquired twice about it's whereabout's, ,,,Ron's the one to deal with these question's at Twin's,,IMO,,,

they have been pretty good with me, there is no local dealer here so i wind up ordering all my parts through them.
they mixed up one order, sent me the wrong part, but when notified overnighted the correct one to me.
after i ordered the slave cylinder i took my wheels off for tyres and noticed the wheel bearings were looking a bit odd. surface rust
in spots and there was a bit of resistance. so another order into them today for bearings and seals, wish i would have noticed it before the slave cyl order, such is life.

ill let you all know what comes with the Sigutech when i get the order.

ok update, yes in fact the Sigutech kit is complete.

it comes with the base O-ring, and 2 crush washers, so Jen has been exonerated.
also of interest is the bleed kit form Magura (also ordered from KTMTwins). it comes with tubing, 2 syringes and all the hardware plus fluid. i bought another bottle of the fluid just because, a new pushrod/pin, and seal, again why not!

Betcha Ron told her to get her head out of her A@#,,you still need that ali base plate brother,,,get rid of the plastic one while your down there,,,,,,, I need that "blood " kit as well to do the Oberon on mine,,,,Honda dealer a mile or so from me said they could get the kit in a couple of day's,,,,,what was it like $30

I guess a stupid question, but how do you know before your slave cylinder goes. Only if it leaks?

Mine spewed when I got the beast home from the dealer a few rides and it stopped,,I assume it had been sitting a while waiting to be sold,,,,,going to use it until it,,if it,,,fail's,,,then install the Oberon I have a waitin,,with the ali base plate ,,the stock base plate will also ,,has been known to,,fail,,,it's plastic,,starts to crack and deform from heat,,,I can only think that it can leak from there as well,,,,

my clutch lever seems to need to be pulled in a bit more than it used to and changes a touch more difficult, but see no leaks.

I have this slave cylinder. It works great once you get it bled right. No extra force is needed to pull it in and it releases nice and smooth. So in reality Mike, you may know of two people who have them "Whore". lol

im curious as to how many guys have replaced the plastic spacer block because they were actually damaged?
was it more of a knee jerk reaction to a post saying they go bad?
any of you actually find there was something wrong with yours?

to be honest im not sure why i lost my fluid at all. i have the old slave cylinder here on my desk and ill bet if i just replaced the O-ring on the piston, the only place i could see a leak starting from, (other than the line or banjo fitting). i guess if the piston is cocked in the bore it could leak but its pretty well designed that that shouldnt happen, the pushrod has a guide and the force of the piston is pretty much straight on not torsional.

I've seen a pic of one on the ADV site that was,,,"cracked" all around the piston hole as well as the hole was "elongated",,,,the poster had been running in very hot conditions and he had over 25K on the machine,,,,,,,

Having reviewed many of these posts, I assumed it was safe to replace the stock clutch slave as preventative maintenance on my 2007 Superduke. I had purchased a Sigutech from KTM Twins, and installed it, bled the system expecting everything to work.... WRONG!!! Clutch still wouldn't release. I re-bled it several times, got a solid feel to the clutch, no air bubbles from either bleed port. Still didn't release. I then removed the Sigutech slave and measured the distance to the ball in the bore and compared it to the stock slave. AHA! The Sigutech's ball was 3mm deeper in the bore than the stock one's. No wonder my clutch wouldn't release! Anyone have this problem?

Just received a replacement cylinder from KTM Twins. Measured the depth and it is the same as the stocker this time. So my problem was a defective part, but quickly replaced by KTMtwins. Thanks, Ron!
