Hi guys,

A quick and maybe silly question...

I have a ride tomorrow and I checked the superduke too late.

Battery is dead and won't charge, not enough power to cranck the engine.

And can't buy replacement during night ^^

I have a small 125cc (kymco stryker) with 2 batteries.

It's ytz7something with 6Ah

On SD it is Ytz14s with 12Ah

Polarity match.

So will the bike start with half battery and is it safe for electronic, alternator and battery itself.

It's only for tomorrow morning and after that I buy new battery.

Thanks guys (in case the 6ah is charging on ctek for the night)

one reason why the Superduke battery life is short is the power required to spin the engine, it needs a lot of cranking power. you need a minimum 220CCA. What is the CCA on your tiddler? Even if you do get started,

OK CCA 85 on the 125cc battery...

Do you have a hill nearby? If you time it right the jump start with starter button should work even with the small battery... Good luck!
