Hi All wonderes if anyone has experienced the following and or may point me in the right direction
out today on a ride when on way back the bike lost most of its punch and performance. i up to then was having a spirited interaction with a gixxer! the bike gets ridden hard but at the same time with respect after i recently went for the 990 super duke trading in my previous zx10r for it and boy am i glad i did! anyway feels like it is a 250cc or something, starts and rides ok and got me home but at a much slower pace no warning lights and running temp also ok. bikes standard apart from akros. sounds flat when revved and will only pull around 80 mph now. was a smell of fuel or something when switched off and no misfiring evident. has 8000 miles on it on a 2010 year
any help appreciated
cheers

No experience of this so.. Random idea time:

Assuming you still have the secondary flies in.. A fault there could mean that your airflow is restricted.. Is it still revving out all the way?

Injector blockage / fuel filter blockage?

I'm sure the SD wizards will be in here soon with something!

Sounds like ECU may have switched into 'get you home mode' - do you have TuneECU? If so, check that there are no fault codes listed.
