Ok, it's a KTM and after 6000+ miles I know to expect some vibration. It's still smoother than an old LC4 640.
BUT, after a recent dealer service I notice that vibration really kicks in at about 5500 rpm and stays there right up the rev range.
Do they?
Sure it wasn't there before service - any ideas?
any advice appreciated
Service was fluids and filters only and new tyres (it's not the tyres out of balance)

Mine doesn't do it, but mileage is not so high. On 4500 ish.

Have you changed the gearing?

I noticed more vibration after I loaded a more aggressive map..over stock of course. Did anyone experience the same? Most noticeable where the map's numbers change considerably after 4500rpm up to redline.

Mine does the same thing - intermittently. I haven't figured it out yet. If you do, please post up. I'd love to fix this.

Bike is bog standard, standard pipes, etc.
Still open to ideas

I would first look at balanced throttle bodies. your discription sounds like a classic case. specialy if bike was messed with and lincage got tweeked.
sounds strange but also check chain tension and stickyness. You could be getting a loose clutch springs harmonic imbalance. I would check in that order.

so you are saying it vibrates from 4500 onwards.
Are you using premium? I will flick a map over to you tomorrow, try that one and see if its better

Mine is 08 and doesn't vibe, smooth as. I would take it to another dealer if the problem persist. Try another map as James suggested and see if it helps.

All these can cause vibration I would tick these off before going deeper
Rear wheel out of line
Loose engine sprocket (Thats why I asked about gearing)
Over tight / slack chain
Changing foot pegs
loose engine mountings
Throttle's not balanced
