So I have the forks off my bike and I'm going to just flush and replace the oil, seals are fine so I don't think I'll mess with them.

Has anyone around 200lbs swapped out the fork oil for something heavier? I see the stock oil is 5w, I'm around 210lbs fully kitted and ride 2 up fairly often.

However servicing the rear shock is a little confusing. Should I replace the oil or just recharge it with nitrogen?

I have all the tools at work and the know how of a vintage motocross legend to help me out just not sure if replacing the oil is a necessity.

Thinking it over I'll not at the extreme of the adjustment rangeo n the compression or rebound dampening so like you said Edorta I'll just keep the 5w.

I can't wait to hop back on it, it's have the same fluids for almost 30k miles.

Thicker oil on the forks just masks the problem and makes the damping harsh, correct way is to change the springs if you are on the heavier scale.
You can't rely on oil and a valve to keep the front up, a stiffer spring will do this.
Rear shock needs nitrogen too, won't work without it.
Honestly, best thing to do is to get a suspension place to service it. I like to do all the stuff myself but suspension is a trade by itself, just the tools already makes a difference.
