I seem to have read somewhere on here that the EU map allows the sport mode to be the default. If that is correct, how can I get a EU map loaded in the USA?

TIA

Topic moved to 1290 tread, please post under proper tread people!

ALL maps stay in the latest mode used with the exception of one that has a software bug in it.
Get your dealer to update the software on your bike and it ill stay in the last mode used.
It is a warranty update so you shouldn't have to pay! I didn't have to.

That's good news. Mine isn't staying in last mode selected. When we lose the snow I'll get it to the dealers for an upgrade

Wait, there's an update to the electronics/TC/ABS that eliminates the need for the ABS dongle?

Is there a place where we can get these updates (hear about them), without having to rely on our dealers? I dunno if I trust my dealer to let me know if and when something should be updated. Perhaps like tango2, I'm also about 2 hours from my closest dealer and it's well beyond cold outside yet!

I'm confused too. 'Twas a question, hence the question mark.
