HI All,

Motor cycle News, carried out some modifications to their 990 SMT this week, which got rid of the smatchy throttle.

Heres a link :

And the best part is I only live 30 minutes away.

Certainly makes good reading.

I am in the process of doing the same thing to my SDR. A friend of mine that does bike tuning told me to try it.

Well I lowered the values on when the fueling changes from map sensor to the TPS and sure enough the on off throttle is improved. Mostly when your off throttle and then go backon it's smooth to pickup. Before it was almost as if the the ignition was suddenly turned on. But now the bad news my fuel map I made is now off at those lower throttle positions. I think its lean, but the only way I have of mapping is with a pc3 dashboard. So I am going to have to reinstall it on the bike and checkout those areas. I will keep you posted.
