And I was wondering if anyone was running TC on any of their bikes...

With TC: get a very good TC or none at all. You can not rely on a less then very good TC if you want to use it to faster around track.

I took my bike to Bazzaz to have TC installed. I left with no TC. There are a few problems facing the SD: (1) it does no have a gear position sensor (GPS) for every gear, only 1-3 IIRC; (2) the bike does not have a means to monitor rear wheel speed or rpm; (3) there is not sufficient space on the rear axle / brake mounting bracket to mount a wheel speed sensor;and, (4) you cannot rely on rate of change of speed as measured by the speedo, because it measures front wheel speed and is useless when the front wheel is in the air.
The Bazzaz system measures the rate of change of the rear wheel rpm. It has to know what gear the bike is in because the rate of change of rpm is gear dependent. The SD only has a GPS for gears 1-3 (with systems like the GiPro, the remaining gears are calculated based on actual speed and engine rpm. That's why the GiPro gear indicator will blank out during wheelies).
They were going to fab a device to measure the rear wheel speed, but found that unlike the RC8 (for which Bazzaz does offer TC), there was not enough room on the rear brake to mount a sensor. So, no Bazzaz TC for the SD.

I have Nemesis TC on my SDR. I was the first - Durbahn in Germany custom made the brackets for me.

It works very very well !!
An I have a nice speed sensor on the rear https://picasaweb.google.com/ratemut/20 ... 3438204962
