I know this must have come up on here hundreds of times, but I wasn't able to find a topic - I suck at search it seems.
Anyway, I have a 2008 SDR here in the states. It has under 2k miles on it, and I picked it up off a dealer who had put all sorts of upgrades, and bits and pieces.. I had heard of the jumpy throttle response, but it is really a problem for me.. I really enjoy the SDR and think it is a drop dead gorgeous bike, but slower speed throttle response, especially pushing it over somewhat rough pavement where i seem to lurch and buck, is really affecting my enjoyment of the bike..
what is the solution? I was trying to read about the tuneECU program, and while it is a bit over my head, hopefully you guys can get me through it if that is the answer..
Any help and advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks. Ben

hmm.. found another thread finally, and it looked like recommendations for disconnecting / disabling O2 sensors, motobox, and a tuneECU custom map..
Obviously, my SDR had the akropovic system, but the cans were replaced with FMF Apex carbon cans..

Did it all and the only thing that that made a big difference was the o2 delete. Order them and plug them in... Took me all of 5 mins including cleanup...
