Dear List,

It's been forever since my 07 Super Duke 990 has been on the street, job, life, money, take your pick. Well, I took the wheels off to get new tyres fitted and for the life of me I am not sure I have the correct front wheel spacers and rear wheel spacers. The wheels were off for a few months and tools/parts were moved a few times by helpful folks.

Does anyone have photos or information on the front wheel spacers and the rear ones?

Thanks!

Comrade: Oh Man! If only you'd asked a few hours earlier when I had everything apart however:

Here's the right hand front spacer looking back.

Here's the left hand side looking back which only has an internal one. The black bit is part of the axel tube. The silver bit inside near the bearing:

And here is that left hand one hanging out of a spare wheel:

And here is some picture from section 10 of the repair manual. The spacers are labelled #1:

And for the back #1 again:

NOW: My recollection is that you were under a promise to provide the members of this forum with more photo's like the dual headlight Vincent model - who's name eludes me. So ...

Jmann,

Thank you for the reply! Looking at the parts diagrams they didn't completely explain it since some of the rear parts aren't visible. I will dig into the bike this weekend.

As far as the models; I haven't photographed any beauties in a while but That model was photographed recently by TJ Scott

Well done comrade: Now it all comes back to me - Her name was R... and her Ex didn't like you for some reason
Still that's quite a nice photo although I think Ducati Pete would have tried a bit of one-up-manship but we don't hear from him much anymore.
She's cut her hair and changed slightly but the original Vincent photo has a special appeal for me.

I think that rear spacer (there's only one) is similar to the black front one. There's nothing else.
