The clutch needs bled on my 990 SD and I know its a mineral oil that I need. I remember being told about some or other oil that was better than the KTM stuff. I have an Oberon clutch slave fitted already before anyone recommends changing fir one.

Thanks

I think I went to CVS and asked the pharmacist for Mineral Oil and he gave me a funny look. I told him it was for my motorcycle's clutch and he said: "riiiiight, for your 'motorcycle'. Its ok, I don't judge "

I paid less than $5.

I use Magura Royal blood and it is blue. I get it from push bike shops because a lot of their brakes are Magura hydraulic set up so they keep stock of fluid.

I've used Mobil one ATF - no problems in 4 years.

Genuine replacement for this type of hydraulic oil is Total or Penrite LHM.

Way cheaper and exactly the same stuff.

Why is it mineral by the way ?
Are they special seals in the Magura system or something else ?

5.1 brake fluid in the clutch - not a good joke
