Morning all,
a few quick word to say hello, then I'd better get back to work...
After 30 years of sportsbikes (beginning with a Harris Magnum that I built and culminating with a ZX-10R that I had for eleven years) I've come to the conclusion that a litre sportsbike is somewhat irrelevant on today's roads, encouraging you to behave like a total eejit, and I'm not 20 any more so old injuries start to hurt after the high-intensity battering that a ZX dishes out.
I first rode a SD in 2007 and thought it was amazing, but at the time it would have been "a nice 2nd bike to have" (ignoring the fact that I already had a track bike and an off-roader too). A recent ride on the ZX brought things into focus and I decided to get myself a long-overdue SD. I recalled seeing Klinck's SDR advertised on TrackDay Riders so I dropped him a line - the day after he'd sold it Gah!

Welcome mate.
Do go to crashfest if you can and if you have room in the van take the SD too. Cadwell is ideal for the SD and it's a laugh on track as many people before me have said over and over again. My last track bike was a K5 gixer 1000 and although slower the SD is just as much fun.
Enjoy

Welcome! (to the madness I would say but it seems you already own a fair share of that!)
