So I'm riding with my buddies yesterday, when my bike decided we did not need the clutch lever anymore so it threw it away.
My bud CBR Chris picked it up and then proceeded to find the pivot bolt.
I did not loose the push rod that goes into the rubber dust cover, or the rubber bushing between the lever and pivot bolt. But when I reinstall the bolt the lever still it feels loose. First off, the black rod, does it go with the narrow end inside the dust jacket or outside? Is there anything else between the lever itself and the rod?
I'm going to buy the right nut or another bolt/ nut and reassemble with blue loctite.
Thank you for your time,

AFAIK the push rod has to go inside the dust jacket.

I just ordered parts 25 and 26. And of course I had to get my 40t bling sprocket!

I lost clutch lever on motorway when rode my rc8 back home one day. Peak hours, busy traffic and I've been more than surprised when at some stage all I grab by my left hand was the air

MrK,
I actually made the round spacer out of Plast-Aid yesterday. The spacer that goes inside the lever, that pushes into the smaller end of the rod.
I've also ordered the parts I need in case my plastic part does not work out.
Can someone actually post a picture of what that part is supposed to look like? I saw the diagram in the microfiche and I'm not sure my 'design' is 100% correct. I will post a pic of what I did and how great it works. And BTW, I'm no abc with his phenomenal carbon fiber underbelly. Hmkay?

Now I see that I'm missing a rod on #26 that would push the clutch switch.

Oh well, Parts have been ordered and should arrive next week.
