Looking to buy a C spanner (or C wrench) to adjust the rear preload, lots of sizes available, and adjustable ones that hinge..
Just wondering if anyone knows what actual size one I need, or could measure across the open end of the one KTM gave you in your kit pls?

Rich,
I have a Kennedy Tools adjustable C-spanner, range 2 - 4¾" Part No. 582-962 (check on Cromwell Tools or here:
https://www.cromwell.co.uk/shop/hand-to ... EN5829620K )
It fits a SD990 rear shock OK, just try to ensure that the hook stays located on the preload ring slot, and try not to be tempted to use a hammer and large screwdriver - the tools of bodgers! (bloody Auto-correct keeps changing that to dodgers FFS!)
