I think too many people are confusing twitchy or flighty with unstable!!
Another thing to consider is riding style, grip the tank with ya thighs and lighten ya grip on the damn bars!!
theres 1 strech of road i use all the time coming back from the gym, dual carriageway with badley surfaced tarmac, roll the throttle hard and as you approach 90mph the front end is light and starts to wobble very slightly as long as your light on the bars and gripping the tank with your thighs, the first few times i rode along there it would happen and id go stiff and obviously start to hang on tighter to the bars which would cause big enough wobbles to make me back off!!!
Just keep thinkin `gotta stay relaxed, light touch and inputs on bars!`
Oh, and set ya sag correctly!

it feels like this cos KTM , like Buell make short wheelbase bikes that make for quick turning bikes and will make them a bit unstable or flighty! stiffen up the steering damper a bit can help, or do what the others say, relax and power out of them, my old duke2 was a bastard at full chat..weaving like a turkish kid in a sweat shop, felt good to be on the edge though knowing your next huge tank slapper is milliseconds away..
