The twin piston caliper and mount from the Adventure 950/990 fits the superduke. This improves brakes and use HH rated pads for extra stopping power and control. http://s435.photobucket.com/albums/qq75 ... C00802.jpg

Astute observation!
Hopefully they don't have the squeeks like the rear brake on my '05.5 Adventure.

Use brake paste not copper grease and EBC HH pads and all will be quiet.
Did same with RC8, just waiting for EBC to do replacement pads.

Rear brake=dead weight. The only time I use mine is coasting to a stop at very low speed, like in town from stop to stop, never at higher speeds.

Yep i have never replaced rear pads either, only to put good pads in rather than factory fitment.
I guess we all use our bikes diff...the stock rear has had lots of critacism and i found two up round the Isle of Man the front alone and weak rear made last minute braking interesting. SDR will be converted to dual seat for next visit to the island and trip 2 europe so i will have no doubt over stopping power. As to the problem in the wet like i said pricless good rear, even on the race bike we all use the rear alot in the rain and it helps settle it down when dry.
But hey racers fit thumb brake's, back it in and generally miss behave because obviously they want to add Usless weight to the bike that helps them win!!!!
