I have to agree.. Simoncelli may take a few extra risks but isn't that what it's all about.??? It was unfortunate spill...but I think he is making a great effort and has the desire to be at the top...I'm sure he will be there for a long time too...Get over it and get used to him being there..!!!

Simoncelli crashes a fair bit, I like him too.
De Puniet crashes/crashed alot too sometimes taking someone out, sometimes not, they never said too much about him because he was further down the grid.
The papers love trash talk, lets be honest there is not much else to talk about in moto gp this year, all the races have been pretty unexiting.
I think they should televise the Cadwell crashfest, that would provide more entertainment

Look back at the history of all the riders in the premier class, they all started off as crashers in thier 1st season (Rainey, Schwantz, Doohan, Rossi etc etc).
It takes them a season to adjust to the power/grip ratio.
Unfortunatly it doesnt help that they have tyres that take ages to come up to a heat that they grip enough instead of tyres that grip from the word go then fade as the laps go on!
Im not sure what Whoregay expects to accomplish by whining about Sicco, it seems hes not too good under pressure when his season isnt going to plan!

oh and stoner, what a winging git!! if he is not at the front he is not happy and its everyone elses fault, a couple of races ago, in the pre build up to the race he was slating the set up and the weekend, he won, then it was the best weekend since slice bread !!
oh and wtf is punching someone on track all about, if that had been simo, lorenzo and stoner would have been giving birth to new complaints

To be fair to Lorenzo, he did make it stick. First he got the contract he wanted, that clearly put Rossi's nose out of joint - then he beat him head to head on the same bike.

While I agree WAY too much whining, I don't disagree with the folks stating that Simoncelli is over the top with his riding... While the likes of us trying to critique World Class riders is in itself a bit ludicrous, we all do it and I am no different so here goes!
My opinion on this is that there is a fine line between aggressive and over the top. An example of aggressive riding is Rossi (or anyone else for that matter) bumping fairings in the corners. Dangerous, absolutely.. TOO dangerous? I don't think so...
Another aggressive tactic that Rossi will use is the lull into complacency and then the shock maneuver... Race someone REALLY hard for several laps and in a particular corner each time brake a little deeper than the last time... Until after several laps of this, brake REALLY early and throw the trailing rider's concentration out the window. Rossi is a MASTER at this.. Once again.. Dangerous? Yep. Over the top I don't believe so.
Now take Simoncelli's pass on Pedrosa.. I think this was over the top because it physically took Pedrosa's line away from him at a critical point in the corner. In my opinion it is one thing to mentally fook with the competitor as described above and even some contact is acceptable.. It is quite another to take the line away causing a crash... I DO think these are different things and while similar in some ways, I still feel that Simoncelli was wrong and presents an unacceptable danger to himself as well as his competitors...
I will also say that if he manages to curb his aggressivenes just a tiny bit, he will be an absolute FORCE to reckon with! The guy is undeniably FAST
