Has anyone tried using Trackmaster for android phones? I'll try it this weekend. What other options are out there to record your lap times and telemetry data?

Race chrono its free and most people use it. Remember you will need an external gps to make it worthwhile. For android phones they can be got for around £30- £40.

Use Racechrono over trackmaster. It's far simpler to use.
Even with 10hz gps none of them are spot on accurate though compared to the proper transponders. Close enough though.
We did some tests at Cadwell and Anglesey. My £370 Starlane 10hz pukka timer, a Racechrono app with a 10hz bluetooth receiver, and had the proper transponder running for official times. The timers were all between 0.25 and 0.60 faster than the official times. Tried it 3-4 times and same results every lap.
For trackdays to use as a reference to whether your improving they're great though.
