Does anybody know if the fitment is different between Mk1 and Mk 2 990's for the GPR damper?
I'm considering buying a second hand one but the seller isn't sure which model it came off (Pre or post 2006) and I don't want to buy one that doesn't fit. Mine is a 2009 bike so a MK 2.
If anybody knows that would be most useful.

Shadowman, not sure if my thoughts on this will help or just muddy the waters. But whatever....
I think the GPR damper is pretty much the same as the Scotts rotary damper I have fitted to my 990. And as far as I know this will fit a pre'06 bike as well as the later Superdukes. Both the top triple clams are the same (in as much as the position and spacing of the bolt holes for the handlebar clamps) you just have to use the most forward ones on the yolks. The other part of the damper fits onto the frame using the bolt that attaches the front of the tank (the one that won't go in with tank expansion!) and this is the same on all Superdukes as far as I know.

Thanks Bic.
Apparently the issue is one of space as the tank is a little larger on the later bikes and there may be a clearance problem?
Might see if they have any customer support where I can ask the question direct.
