So am I looking at having to replace the whole sprocket? Can I just loosen the bolt, reposition the nut, and retighten? It looks to have rounded the circle a bit, its stuck in place atm though.

I'd pull the carrier and check the inside of your swing arm to make sure it didn't gouge it.
If it was mine I'd just pull the bolt and nut, either replace them if they're fooked or put a bunch of blue loctite and call it a day until you need a new sprocket.
My current sprocket doesn't have a recess for the oblong nuts, and I was too lazy to make sure they were all horizontal and everything is fine.
