re-installing my Shorai battery the 990, following the manual instructions that + be connected BEFORE -, however the main 30A fuse keeps blowing out. At first I thought the bike was pulling current somewhere, so I made sure the key was out/turned to OFF, kill switch to OFF, and even unplugged the Scorpio alarm I have. Can't think of any other consumers drawing current enough to blow the fuse...Still, any order I attempt to connect things blows the fuse. Anybody have this problem before? Actually nevermind, anyone have the solution??
Hopefully I'm missing something so elementary it warrants a good slap upside the head.
Drivin me crazy since I had run the battery in there before and followed (what I thought was) the same procedure and it worked fine.

Mate, if the main fuse blows you have a short.

This happened to me just the other day. It was because I attached the pos lead to the neg terminal on the battery and neg lead to pos by accident. The leads aren't color coded for numb nuts like me.
