Hi guys,
Have just bought my first KTM...an '07 990 SD. Love it so far and I'm also loving the forum! Although it makes me want to spend lots of money, seeing all the mods you guys have done.
Anyway...my SD came fitted with Pro Flow exhausts. The only record I can find on the company is this website http://www.proflowexhausts.com/ and no sign of super duke cans at all! I'm looking to buy a power commander but chances of finding a map for these...very slim I feel.
Just wanted to know if anyone else has them, has heard of them, can help really? They sound great by the way (although far too loud without the baffles).

Don't worry to much, the aftermarket exhaust cans on the 990 are not that different map wise.
Try one for akra, Mivv or FMF, they wil work well on your system.
As mentioned before a proper dyno tune done by a good operator is always the best!

Excellent...thank you! They are quite big bore so possibly Akro map may work best? Will give them a go. I was just curious also if anyone had these cans or had even heard anything about them before too!

I have a great TuneECU map for you if you want to. Just let me know if the SAS and flies are still in and I'll upload it to my dropbox

Right, so I've got a map that Jermo kindly sent me...the thing is still aggresive as hell and massively popping and banging on overrun...any other maps I can try or is this just the norm?! Maybe I'll try the Akro map as suggested?

The SAS causes the popping.
You can pull thethe SAS hose on the back of your airbox, put a bolt inside the hose and reattach the hose to the filter. This way the SAS isn't functional anymore.
Another option is the pipes may leak a bit and suck in fresh air. To test that, let the bike run and block the exhaust openings. The bike should stall almost instantly when the exhaust system is air tight but try blocking the SAS first.
It's definitely not the mapping.

Thanks guys. So is putting a bolt inside the hose the same as blocking off the SAS with SAS plates? I will read up properly on it as I know there are threads about it on this forum.
