anybody have experience with the luimoto seat covers?
in particular the SD 990 one?



if so, how is the quality compared to the price and are there other possibility's beside the powerparts seats?

I had one on my previous bike (Ducati SF10980) and also put one on my 1290. They are a bit pricey but the quality is excellent. Both of mine were installed over the existing seat cover. Fairly easy install, especially if you have pneumatic stapler. I got cheap one from harbor freight.

I was eyeing one of those myself. You installed it without removing the original seat cover?

Yep, just installed over the top. There is a bit more extra fabric on Luimoto cover so you can staple outside of the original cover.
